^ Overlapping somewhat to form one continuous line, from shoulder to wrist the scales are raised, as if pried up at an angle

Hooks

Note that for in-game purposes, this character (with the same name) exists as an alt only on Balmung. I primarily play under a different name on the Aether DC. I am available for in-game RP but for the moment prefer off-game mediums.

• Xaela (and au ra in general to a lesser degree): Jikhaa is drawn towards other Xaela for both safety and familiarity--even if he doesn't know them personally. He's much quicker to trust, especially if they also hail from the steppe.• Food: He enjoys cooking, but moreso sharing food--with just about anyone if they ask or offer. He'll give (almost?) anything a try if he has no reason to suspect malicious intent. He and his brother Dalai also occasionally set up shop in Shirogane, selling traditional steppe cuisine under the banner of Big Catch.• Work: A career mercenary and a courier or chef on the side, run a job by him and he'll not likely turn it down... if you have coin. (Occasionally he's also been the target, for all his slights and misdemeanours.)• Around Hingashi and the Azim Steppe: Jikhaa often travels between Kugane, Shirogane, and the steppe. Recently some Shirogane regulars have caught on that he's willing to cook and personally deliver meals crafted from fresh ingredients obtained in his travels, for a fee. Maybe you caught a whiff of some delectable, foreign fragrances (or maybe it's just grass and sheep) on his person, or you yourself have an order to place?• A moment of attraction: It doesn't take much. A street act? A glimmering stone? A misstep right into him? You might catch him staring. If you're lucky, he'll have questions he's willing to ask. And he always has questions. --Or did you catch him in the midst of an improbably-high jump or get a glimpse of his carved horns, and you have questions for him?• Eorzea: Jikhaa spent a lot of time around Eorzea, taking on a variety of jobs. You may have seen him before or heard something unsavoury or curious about someone fitting his rather unusual description. Did he once steal something right in front of you, or start a fight over some words he could have walked away from especially when they weren't even directed at him? He hasn't been in the area at all recently, having isolated himself in Othard for the last year or so---though that may soon change.No idea? Let's discuss!

Notes

Please note that Jikhaa can be a bit odd and sometimes difficult. He's terrible at communicating his thoughts and walks away from things he's uncomfortable with, but he is willing to engage--just perhaps not in the ways one might expect. If you'd like, we can discuss OoC how to make interaction work as we go. Don't hesitate to ask (IC or OoC) what he really means if he's unclear and you don't want to play charades!Secondly, fair warning that he is a physically affectionate character and his behaviour is not necessarily romantic or sexual.
